The team building game that fits any company event
Photo missions that get people talking to colleagues they don't usually work with. It runs alongside your agenda, takes minutes to set up and leaves you with a gallery of the day.

What is a good team building activity for a company event?
A good team building activity mixes people who don't usually work together, needs no special skills, and fits around the agenda instead of replacing it. A photo mission game does all three: colleagues join on their phones with a 6-digit code, complete challenges like "selfie with someone from another team", and compete on a live leaderboard. At the end you have every photo from the day in one place for internal comms.
Why use Mission Memories for your company event?
Breaks up the usual groups
Missions like "snap two people who've never met chatting" do the icebreaking for you, without anyone being put on the spot in front of the room.
Runs alongside the agenda
No separate session to schedule. People play during breaks, lunch and the evening social, and the leaderboard keeps it going all day.
One price, up to 300 people
Plans are a one-off price per event, not per head, from free for 5 people to £49.99 for 300.
Set up in minutes
Write your own missions or start from our ideas, share the code in the calendar invite, Slack or Teams, and you're done. Nothing to book, no facilitator.
Content for internal comms
Download every photo and video as one zip, ready for the all-hands recap, the newsletter or your careers page.
Private to your company
Add a password so only invited colleagues can join, and remove anything that shouldn't be there.
How to run it at an away day, offsite or conference
This plan works for a one-day away day. For a multi-day offsite, keep the same event running throughout.
- 1
The week before
Create the event, choose 10–20 missions that fit your team and venue, and add a password. Put the join link in the calendar invite or your event channel.
- 2
Opening session
Explain the game in 30 seconds and give everyone two minutes to join. Show the QR code on the first slide.
- 3
Breaks and lunch
Most of the game happens here. Cross-team missions get people talking to people they don't usually work with.
- 4
Afternoon slump
Add a bonus mission (on paid plans) to put new points on the board and pick up the pace.
- 5
Closing session
Freeze the leaderboard, put the top three on screen and hand out prizes. It's a strong end to the day.
- 6
Afterwards
Download the photos for the recap email or all-hands deck. Everyone also gets their own Event Wrapped.

Tips for a great work event game
- Keep missions inclusive: things anyone can do in a few minutes, regardless of role, mobility or confidence.
- Make it optional and low-pressure. The leaderboard brings people in better than an instruction does.
- Want teams? Have each team play on one phone. Teams of four to six work well.
- Ask senior leaders to play. Missions involving them are always the most completed.
- Put the QR code on the opening slide and on signs at coffee stations.
- Get consent right: tell people photos are shared with attendees, and remove any photo someone asks you to.
Corporate Events: frequently asked questions
Do employees need to download an app?
No. Guests open your invite link, scan the QR code or enter the 6-digit code, and play straight from their phone's browser. They create a quick free account (name, email and password) so they can come back to their photos later. The free iOS and Android app is optional and adds the smoothest camera, reactions and notifications.
How many people can play?
Up to 300 on the Host with the Most plan (£49.99). Smaller plans cover 10, 40 or 120 people. For more than 300, contact us.
Can people play in teams?
The leaderboard ranks individual players. For team play, give each team one phone and a team name as their player name. Teams of four to six people work well.
Does it work for hybrid or remote teams?
Yes. Anyone with the link can join from anywhere, so remote colleagues can play alongside the room. Add missions they can do from home, like "show us your desk setup" or "photo with your office pet".
How do we pay and get a receipt?
Plans are a one-off purchase per event in the iOS or Android app, so you get an App Store or Google Play receipt you can expense.
Who can see the photos?
Only people who have joined your event. Add a password to keep it to invited colleagues. Hosts can remove any photo or video at any time.
Can we use our own missions and branding?
Yes. Write your own missions about your company, values or event. Paid plans also let you add your own watermark to photos.
How long does the game take?
As long as your event. Most companies run it across the whole day and close the leaderboard in the final session, so it doesn't need its own slot in the agenda.
