No. Guests open your invite link, scan the QR code or enter the 6-digit code, and play straight from their phone's browser. They create a quick free account (name, email and password) so they can come back to their photos later. The free iOS and Android app is optional and adds the smoothest camera, reactions and notifications.
Can a whole course or year group play together?
Yes. One event can hold up to 300 players on the Host with the Most plan, so a year group can share one leaderboard and gallery.
