Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Workin Fitness Limited (company number 15898782, registered office Old Glade Cottage, Felday Glade, Dorking, Surrey, RH5 6PG, United Kingdom), which runs Mission Memories. By creating an account or using the app or website, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

Mission Memories lets hosts create events with photo and video missions, puzzles and quizzes, and lets guests join those events to capture and share photos and videos ("User Content") with the other people taking part.

• You must be at least 13 to create an account, and at least 18 to host an event or buy a plan.
• Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details private. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
• You can stop using Mission Memories and delete your account at any time from the Profile screen.

• Events start on a free plan. Paid plans are one-off purchases for a single event, made in the app through the App Store or Google Play, or on our website by card through Stripe. The price is shown before you pay.
• Plans bought in the app: refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.
• Plans bought on our website: your plan starts as soon as you pay. Before paying you agree to that, and that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once it starts. If something goes wrong with a plan you bought from us, contact us and we'll put it right or refund you where the law requires.
• None of this affects your legal rights as a consumer.
• As a host you are responsible for who you invite to your event and for the missions you set. You can remove guests and comments from your event.

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process and display it to the hosts and guests of the event you shared it in, only so we can run Mission Memories. The licence ends when the content is deleted.

Only upload content you have the right to share. Get permission from the people in your photos and videos, and a parent's or guardian's permission for children.

We may delete an event's photos, videos and comments after its stated retention period: up to 3 months on Free and Party Time, and up to 6 months on Event of the Season and Host with the Most. Please download anything you want to keep.

• Upload content that is illegal, sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, defamatory or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Upload intimate or embarrassing images of anyone without their consent.
• Use Mission Memories to bully, threaten or impersonate anyone.
• Try to access accounts, events or data that are not yours, or interfere with how the service works.
• Copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.

We take our duties under the Online Safety Act 2023 seriously. You can report any photo, video or comment from within the app, or email us. Reported content is hidden while we review it.

We may remove content, remove people from events, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, and we will cooperate with the authorities where the law requires it.

The app, website, name, logos and designs belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only to use Mission Memories as intended.

We work hard to keep Mission Memories available and working, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for content uploaded by other users. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and £100.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it. We will tell you why unless the law or safety reasons prevent us.

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before they apply. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes will be decided by its courts. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings there. Please contact us first so we can try to sort things out.
