1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Mission Memories ("App", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and the provisions of the UK's Online Safety Act. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.

2. Description of Service

Mission Memories is a mobile application that enables users to create missions and capture, upload, and share images and other event-related content with participants. We strive to facilitate engaging event experiences while strictly adhering to the Online Safety Act and protecting user privacy through a secure platform.

3. User and Host Responsibilities

As a user or host of the App, you agree to:

Provide accurate and current information when creating your account.
Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the UK's Online Safety Act, when using the App.
Ensure that any mission you create, and any content you share, does not violate these Terms, the Act, or any third-party rights.
Not upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise prohibited.
As a host, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and fully authorised to make purchases within the App.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to Mission Memories. However, by uploading content to the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence to use, modify, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant this licence, and that your content does not violate the rights of others or the UK's Online Safety Act. We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content that violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — are the exclusive property of Mission Memories or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our App or its content without our express written consent.

6. Compliance with the UK's Online Safety Act

We are committed to maintaining a safe platform in line with the UK's Online Safety Act. You expressly agree to:

Refrain from posting content that could be considered harmful, hateful, or illegal under the Act.
Immediately report any content or activity you observe on the App that appears to breach the Act or these Terms.

We will act promptly to remove or restrict access to any content that we believe violates the Act or these Terms, and may cooperate with relevant authorities where required by law.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive to maintain a secure environment, we cannot guarantee that the App will be free from errors or interruptions at all times.

In no event shall Mission Memories, its affiliates, or its licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, to the extent permissible by law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mission Memories, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any disputes arising hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through friendly negotiations.

If a resolution cannot be reached, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and without notice. This includes situations where content or conduct violates these Terms, the UK's Online Safety Act, or applicable laws. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
